Main Product - Double Page Spread Drafts, Feedback and Final
Final:

Feedback:
This final piece has had Ash enlarged and moved slightly so that he is taking up more space at the top, which follows the conventions set by Billboard magazine. I have also made the text fit to Ash again after I moved him.
Draft 3:
Feedback:
"Ash Waithe" has been moved so it fits perfectly and the picture has been made clearer. The paragraph have been replaced with proper information. There are also page numbers at the bottom of both sides which as well as the back ground they link to the contents page. I think that some of the items need to be moved around so that there is less unused and empty space.
Draft 2:
Feedback:
This draft has improved upon all the points from the last draft. All the space has been filled and a picture is included to show the reader who it is I am interviewing. The paragraphs used in this draft are fake and don't make any sense and so will need to be replaced by proper information. "Ash Waithe" also needs to be moved slightly so it fits perfectly. My model is also too dark and so I will need to make him brighter and clearer. The layout is a convention set by Billboard magazine.
Draft 1:
Feedback:
This draft is very bland due to the colour of the background and no text or pictures, so these will need to be changed so that they compliment each other. There is currently nothing on this page and so I will need to add all the componenets and follow conventions from professional products in my genre, pop.

Main Product - Contents Page Drafts, Feedback and Final
Final:
Feedback:
In the top left I have added the kicker from the the front cover to create a link between the two pages as well as show the reader where to get the music and to fill in the space needed. This follows the conventions of the Top of The Pops, pop magazine where they had small easy to follow directions. I've also added another person to the top three squares. I chose a female to show that both men and women can read the magazine however it is mostly catered to men. She is the centre because her head is straight up where as the other two people have their heads slightly tilted, plus she is outnumbered, representing the catering for males.
Draft 7:
Feedback:
This draft is almost the finished product. I have added pink shadows to the feature articles to make them stand out as well as descriptions. I added a page number with an arrow to fill up some dead space as well as show the readers that, that particular article is the main feature of this issue. To improve this I need to add one more picture to the upper portraits area and add something to the top left.
Draft 6:
Feedback:
This draft is starting to look more like a contents page now because I have moved the "top pop charts" into their own area. I have also spaced out the text so it doesn't look like one big block which makes it more appealing to look at. I have also added a picture of an artist which is my feature on my double page spread which will mean that they create a link through these pictures.I need to make the features stand out more so that people will know that these are the important articles and I need to add descriptions so to draw people in. I will also add some page numbers to the portraits at the top to make it simpler for people to find pages that they specifically want.
Draft 5:
Feedback:
The "top pop charts" section I got from following one of my conventions from the Billboard magazine. However it takes up a lot of space and doesn't fit in with conventions set by other contents pages so I either need to move it or remove it entirely. The album covers on the left are working to make the block of text easier on the eye however they are not my pictures and I have no way of taking my own pictures, plus if I remove them then it will free up some space for the "top pop charts". I have also added some pictures at the top which will be used to make the text easier on the eye as well as following conventions set by other pop magazines.
Draft 4:
Feedback:
In this draft I have removed one of the sections to make the information flow across the page as well as adding blue blocks to make it easier to read and follow the text. I have allocated space for some album covers and just need to get some to put in there.
Draft 3:
Feedback:
Here I have moved the title to the top right and made it larger, following some of the conventions set by other pop magazines, as well as I have made the masthead much smaller and put it out of the way.
A problem with this draft is that when all the lower section is filled in, it will look like one big block of text and so I will need to add pictures to make it look more appealing. Another piece of feedback was that people didn't like the "in every issue" section so I am going to get rid of this.
Draft 2:
Feedback:
This draft is slightly better than the previous one however the background is much too dark, doesn't fit any conventions set by other pop magazines and it doesn't fit with the background I used for my front cover. This page looks more like a cover page due to me putting the masthead in a large font. To improve this I will need to change the background to a more appropriate one and put the words "contents page" in large so people will know what this page is about and the masthead shall be in a small font so that people can link it to my front cover.
Draft 1:
Feedback:
This draft is a good start for the layout but as you can see, this page doesn't contain anything else. To improve this I am going to add a background that is within my colour scheme and start planning out the layout for what is going in the spaces below and above the title.
